We put together some recipes based on experts’ advice from the article so you can put your newfound beauty knowledge to good use!
face mask for clearer skin
2 T. Rolled Oats
1/2 T. Honey
1/2 T. Lemon Juice
4 Drops tea tree essential oil
Mix and apply to face, leaving for 15 minutes before rinsing.
Hair mask for scalp soothing
1 Ripe avocado
1 T. Argan oil
1 T. Honey
1/8 C. coconut milk
Combine ingredients in a blender. Smooth mixture throughout hair from roots to tips, wrap hair, leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo and condition as usual.
Face mask for hydration
1/4 Ripe avocado
1/2 Ripe banana
1 Egg yolk
Mix and apply to face, leaving for 15 minutes before rinsing.
Hair mask for hydration
3 T. Unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 Avocado
1 T. Honey
Apply to wet hair from roots to ends. Cover with plastic and a towel or shower cap. Let sit for 10-30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
